Job Overview
skilled Infrastructure / Cloud Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize our organization's IT infrastructure and cloud environments. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable systems that support business operations and digital services.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Manage and support on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure environments.
- Implement and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across infrastructure platforms.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
- Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
- Manage networking components including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and routing.
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and cloud-related issues.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure efficient infrastructure performance.
- Maintain documentation of infrastructure architecture and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
Preferred Skills
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.).
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with security hardening and compliance frameworks.
