Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Finance Accountant, based in Mauritius. The Senior Finance Accountant will be responsible for managing financial statements, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and tax requirements, and supporting audits. Key responsibilities include reviewing financial data, reconciling accounts, preparing forecasts, providing financial analysis, and supporting corporate budgeting and strategy. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring adherence to internal controls will also be part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Financial Accounting, Financial Analysis, and preparation of Financial Statements
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting practices
- Knowledge of Taxation, Regulatory Compliance, and Audit processes
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, as well as familiarity with accounting software systems
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and reconciliation abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- Experience in the financial services or corporate sector is advantageous
