We run email and SMS lifecycle programs for 65+ DTC brands, primarily on Klaviyo and Shopify. Our specialty is health, wellness, and supplements: high-LTV, subscription-heavy categories where retention is the difference between a profitable brand and one burning cash on paid acquisition.
We measure ourselves on 1-day click attribution and durable deliverability, not vanity opens. The team is small, opinionated, and built around senior operators.
We're also building our internal AI-powered retention platform. You won't be expected to code, but you will help shape this OS as it grows internally.
Role details
- Location: Remote, South Africa-based
- Engagement: Independent contractor, long-term
- Hours: EST overlap required
- Compensation: $3,500 to $5,000 USD per month, calibrated by experience
About the role
You own retention strategy for 8 to 10 brands within a pod. Specifically:
- Quarterly strategic plans per brand (flow architecture, campaign calendar, segmentation logic)
- Klaviyo account audits and optimization (deliverability, list health, flow performance)
- Campaign briefs delivered to designers and copy team
- Performance reporting tied to 1-day click attribution, not vanity metrics
- Weekly client calls, async client communication in Slack and our internal OS
- A/B test roadmap and contribution to our internal learnings library
- Onboarding new brands into the Kracked system
Required
- 3+ years hands-on Klaviyo experience in an agency or in-house DTC setting
- Proven ownership of multiple brands simultaneously (4+ at once minimum)
- Strong Shopify understanding, including subscription apps, customer tags, product feeds
- Comfort reading Klaviyo attribution data, building client-ready reports, and defending recommendations on calls
- Ability to work EST overlap and communicate async in Slack
- Strong written English. This is a senior client-facing role.

- Skio, Recharge, or Stay AI subscription platform knowledge
- BIMI, DMARC, and deliverability tooling experience
- Klaviyo SMS or Klaviyo CDP experience
- Loyalty program experience (Smile, Yotpo, LoyaltyLion)
