Our esteemed client has a permanent, on-site opportunity for a Senior Bookkeeper within the motor trade industry. Previous motor dealership experience is essential, and only candidates with this background will be considered. The role offers a salary of R20 000 – R27 000 CTC per month, plus performance-based incentives. Proficiency in accounting systems such as Evolve, Keyloop, Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar will be advantageous.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper in the motor trade (ESSENTIAL)
- Applicable qualification / Degree / Diploma
- Strong understanding of dealership accounting systems
- Proficiency in accounting software (Evolve / Keyloop / Kerridge or Pinnacle similar advantageous)
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
- Processing of debtors, creditors, and general ledger entries
- Bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Monthly financial reporting and management accounts support
- Reconciliation of vehicle stock, workshop, and parts accounts
- Assisting with audits and compliance requirements
- Maintaining accurate financial records across multiple franchises
- Liaising with dealership management and external auditors
