Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Cairo, Egypt
- Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
-Lead month-end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and provisions.
-Review general ledger postings to ensure accuracy, proper classification, and compliance with accounting policies.
-Coordinate with Shared Service Center on AP, AR, R2R, and master data activities.
-Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and cash-related accounting activities.
-Review supplier and customer reconciliations, aging reports, and payment proposals.
-Support inventory, costing, and COGS analysis in coordination with operations.
-Participate in physical inventory counts and investigate variances.
-Support internal and external audits and address audit findings.
-Implement and monitor internal controls and process improvements.
-Guide and support junior accounting team members.
- Requirements & Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-6–8 years of accounting and finance experience. At least 2–3 years in a senior or supervisory accounting role.
-Previous experience in manufacturing or the plastic industry is highly preferred.
-Hands-on experience with SAP Business One or similar ERP.
-Strong reporting, analytical, and communication skills.
-Excellent closing, reconciliation, and reporting skills.
-Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, SOCPA, or IFRS certification is preferred.
