SUMMARY:
Our Client is a trusted leader in Mechanical and Electrical construction, proudly delivering high-quality solutions across the Mining, Energy, Industrial, and Renewable Energy sectors.
We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Welders (Stick & COâ‚‚) to join their team.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ proven welding experience
- Grade 12 or N3 qualification
- Trade Test Certificate
- Statement of Results
- Welding Logbook (Stick & COâ‚‚ experience essential)
- Valid South African ID
- Must be medically fit to work in a plant environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Stick and COâ‚‚ welding in accordance with project specifications and safety standards
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and welding procedures
- Ensure all welds meet quality control and inspection standards
- Conduct routine equipment checks and maintenance
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, especially in mining and industrial environments
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet project deadlines

- Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Good understanding of safety protocols in mining and industrial settings
- Reliable, disciplined, and able to work independently or within a team
