Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid Seed Investor role based in Harare, with the flexibility of partial remote work. The seed investor will collaborate with executive leadership to strategize and oversee funding initiatives, identify growth opportunities, and assess potential investments. Responsibilities include networking with potential investors, performing financial analyses, and developing comprehensive investment plans to support company growth. The role also involves tracking the performance of investments and providing insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong financial acumen, including expertise in financial analysis, risk assessment, and portfolio management
- Excellent networking, communication, and relationship-building skills with potential investors and stakeholders
- Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities
- Experience in investment management, venture capital, or related fields
- Proven ability to analyze market trends and identify investment opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CFA, MBA) is a plus
- Knowledge of media industry trends and business
