Security System Product Specialist Jobs in Centurion at Civmaq Projects
We a looking for an experienced Security Systems Products Specialist for one of our associate companies. The person should have a vast experience in the identification, implementation, and management of specialized security technologies and tools, including CCTV systems, access control, alarms, and integrated security solutions, often bridging the gap between technical hardware/software and practical security operations. The person will be responsible for ensuring securing physical assets, protecting personnel, and conducting risk assessments for residential, corporate, private and government clients.
Core Responsibilities & Tasks
· System Design & Implementation: Designing and installing security infrastructure, such as CCTV systems, Alarm systems, access control systems and perimeter security.
· Product Technical Support: Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting security hardware and software such as alarm Communicators, alarm panels or networking infrastructure.
· Surveillance and Monitoring: Managing, interpreting, analysing and responding to data from security platforms, including remote monitoring and onsite technical troubleshooting.
· Control & Command Centre Integration: establishment of a Control & Command Centre and integrating various control rooms with offsite remote viewing capabilities.
· Security Drones: Integration of security drones surveillance into operation control rooms and ensuring capability for perimeter monitoring and rapid threat response.
· Integrated Cyber-Physical Security Solutions: Managing integrated security platforms, such as combining alarm monitoring with armed response. Configuring IT devices, IP cameras or networked access control.
· Risk Assessment & Management: Analysing and assessing security risks and vulnerabilities to develop, implement, and maintain security protocols.
· Sales & Client Support: Working with sales teams to represent security products and advising clients on best-fit solutions. Evaluating Client risk, recommending appropriate technology, and preparing quotes for security upgrades.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of electronic surveillance security systems, including CCTV, IP cameras, access control, and alarm monitoring technologies.
· Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of specific security products and software platforms (e.g., Alarms, CCTV systems and drones).
· Dahua, SAIDSA, Hick Vision, PSIRA and other related certifications or registration required.
· A relevant diploma or degree will be an added advantage
· Industry Experience: Previous experience in electronic security systems integration, installation, technical support, or security management.
· Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and repair security equipment.
Please be aware that we are not looking for a technician, but rather a product and integration specialist who can design, develop and integrate security systems with various products.

Pay: R30 000,00 – R45 000,00 per month
