Security Officers – Grade C

Job Context

Servest Security is seeking Security Officers with Grade C. The role of a Security Officer is to protect people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment. The position is based in Secunda.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric or Grade 10/11 with minimum of 5 years’ experience and Service letter
• Valid PSIRA Grade C Certificate
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the security industry
• Exposure to patrolling, access control, and reporting procedures
• No criminal record (SAPS clearance)
• Firearms license will be an advantage
• Valid driver’s licence with pdp (if driving duties are required)
• Must reside in Secunda area

Skills & Competencies

• Observation and reporting skills
• Communication skills (radio & verbal)
• Basic knowledge of site rules and procedures
• Ability to handle incidents calmly
• Basic computer literacy (advantageous for reports)
• Fluent in English (Speak, read and wright)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conducting regular patrols and security checks.
• Reporting to control rooms regarding security incident.
• Report all incidents to the site manager.
• Access control for personnel and vehicles.
