Capstone Security currently hiring a full time and part time security officer. Must have a valid guard card, reliable transportation, dependable, and strong attention to detail.
Currently hiring for two different positions:
Saturday& Sunday 5:00am to 1:00pm – part time position.
Saturday & Sunday 1:00pm – 9:00pm, Monday & Tuesday 9:00pm – 5:00am – Full-Time position.
Pay Rate: $21.00/Hr.
Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Full-Time Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, patrolling designated areas, and responding promptly to incidents. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively. Candidates with experience in law enforcement, military, or security fields are highly encouraged to apply. The Security Officer will play a critical role in loss prevention and maintaining a secure environment for all.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe and record security-related activities
- Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, including medical emergencies requiring first aid or CPR if certified
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and safety
- Manage conflict situations professionally, de-escalating potential threats or disputes
- Assist with loss prevention strategies by identifying and addressing potential theft or vandalism
- Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Conduct access control procedures to verify authorized personnel entry and exit
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security is preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV is advantageous
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Experience in conflict management and loss prevention techniques is beneficial
- Familiarity with security protocols, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response procedures is preferred
- Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential
