SAFEHOUSE Security Services is looking for Grade C Security Guards who will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Protect the company’s and / or tenant’s premises by maintaining a visible and physical security presence.
- Monitor and authorize entry of individuals into the premises or building ensuring proper identification and comply to security procedures.
- Conduct patrols of the premises to detect and eliminate suspicious activities or people.
- Report any security incidents, or concerns, including maintaining accurate and detailed written reports.
- Escort employee’s visitors, or contractors to and from designated areas as and when necessary, ensuring their safety and security.
- Control the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to protocol.
- Work closely with law enforcement/police, emergency services, during emergencies or incidents.
- Use provided communication devices such as 2-way radios in a clear manner.
- Maintain a proper understanding of the company and / or client’s security policies and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest security industry trends, technologies, and best practices, improve professional knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 and / or equivalent qualification.
- Valid Grade D PSIRA CERTIFICATE
- Must be registered with PSIRA, with a valid Grade D Psira certificate
- Previous experience as a security guard (2years minimum)
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures, including access control, surveillance systems, and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to observe potential security threats effectively.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to handle emergency and stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as security needs may require.
- First Aid/CPR certification is an added advantage, but NOT A MUST.
Pay: R72 000,00 – R90 000,00 per year

- High School (matric) (Preferred)
Experience:
- Security: 2 years (Preferred)

- Drivers licence (Preferred)
- Psira certificate (Preferred)
