Sealcoating Team Member / Crew Leader Trainee
$22–$35/hr + Overtime | $900–$2,000/week potential
American Sealcoating Service Inc is hiring a reliable, hard-working Sealcoating Team Member who wants to make good money, learn the business, and grow into a crew leader role.
We’ve been in business for over 20 years and are known for quality work, repeat customers, and organized crews. We are not looking for someone who just wants to get through the day—we are looking for someone who wants to work, earn, and take pride in the job.
This is outdoor, fast-paced work. It is not for everyone.
Pay & Benefits
- $22-$35 per hour (based on performance, reliability, and attitude)
- Overtime after 40 hours
- 10–20+ hours overtime possible during peak season
Typical earnings:
- Average: $900–$1,500/week
- Top performers: $1,500–$2,000+/week

Schedule
- Start: 7:00 AM
- End: 4:00 PM–7:00 PM depending on workload
- Monday–Friday (some weekends required especially during Spring and Fall)
- 9–12 hour days during busy season
- Weather-dependent work (we work when it’s dry)
Meet daily at yard in Plaistow, NH
Season runs April through January
Typical layoff: January through late March
(Some off-season work available through sister company)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Spraying sealer
- Edging driveways and parking lots
- Cleaning and prepping surfaces
- Crack filling
- Line striping
- Residential and commercial jobs
- Assisting with fence installation when needed
- Working on a 3–6 person crew
- Learning to run your own truck and jobs
What We’re Looking For
- Shows up on time — every day
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Can handle heat, sun, and long days
- Works hard without being told
- Respects the crew and works as a team
- Learns quickly and takes direction
- Wants to grow and earn more
Experience in landscaping, construction, paving, or outdoor labor is a plus — but not required. We will train the right person.

Work Requirements (Important)
- Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to handle physical outdoor labor
- Must be drug-free while working
- Drug testing may be required

This is a good fit for someone who already works during the week but wants to make extra money on weekends. The work is outdoors, physical, and fast-paced.
Pay
$25–$35 per hour
Weekend-only work
Opportunity for longer-term work if it is a good fit
Pay: $22.00 – $35.00 per hour
