Position: School Sales Account Executive (KZN North)

More than 2,500 schools run on d6, and many of them are in Kwa Zulu Natal. We believe there is room for many more.

We are hiring a Schools Account Executive for the KZN North region.

At d6, we build software that helps schools run better, so that principals can lead, teachers can teach, and learners can learn. Our school administration platform, d6+, and our communication tool, d6 Connect, are trusted by school communities across the province. This role is about two things: winning schools we do not yet serve, and helping the schools we do serve get more value from d6.

We are hiring an Account Executive (Banner Sponsorship) to help us unlock that opportunity.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Knows the schools environment and can engage principals, admin staff and governing bodies with credibility
  • Builds a pipeline from scratch and is energised by cold calling and field visits
  • Grows revenue from existing schools through upselling and cross‑selling, not just new logos
  • Is disciplined with CRM records, follow‑up and pipeline management
  • Brings 3 to 5 years of sales experience, ideally in education, SaaS or a digital environment
  • Has a valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle

This is a territory role. The KZN North means real distances between towns, so you will be on the road, in schools and at events, building relationships across the province. Some weeks will start early and end late. What you get in return is a product schools genuinely rely on, and a region where d6 is a known and trusted name.
