- Salary Scale Point 9-19 (£32907 – £38070)
- Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm: 40 hours per week
- Term time + 2 weeks, permanent. Actual Salary (£32907-£38070)
St Benedict Catholic Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an energetic, confident and enthusiastic individual to join St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School in providing financial and administrative support within a busy school office.
St Anthony’s is a successful two-form entry school in East Dulwich. Situated close to Lordship Lane, with excellent public transport links, we are a well-established and vibrant school in a beautiful building with delightful children and supportive staff.
We are seeking a highly organised, professional and approachable School Administrator to join our busy school office. This is a key front-facing role, supporting the day-to-day operations of the school while ensuring high standards of administration, safeguarding and communication.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Exclusive To
- Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, providing a welcoming, positive and professional reception service
- Manage pupil attendance, registrations and absence follow-up
- Support admissions processes and maintain accurate pupil records
- Prepare and submit statutory data returns, including Census and Local Authority submissions
Maintain and update the school calendar and coordinate events including:
- Parents’ evenings
- Open mornings and school tours
- Whole-school events
- Administer school trips, including bookings, permissions and transport arrangements
- Manage Free School Meals (FSM) records and communicate meal requirements to catering
- Support safeguarding processes including visitor checks and DBS record management
- Provide first aid and manage medication records (training provided if needed)
- Record staff absences and maintain accurate administrative records
- Ensure efficient filing, archiving and compliance with GDPR
Essential Skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident IT skills (e.g. MIS systems such as Arbor desirable)
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting a busy school
Desirable skills
- Recent Office 365, Excel, Word, experience in an office environment
- Qualification in office administration
- Experience of Arbor MIS
- First aid certification
- GDPR Certification/training
