Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant specializing in functional support to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of SAP FICO modules by providing expert functional support, resolving system issues, and aligning SAP functionalities with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Support:
- Provide end-to-end functional support during new module implementations
- Act as the first line of support for incidents, training, and troubleshooting for end-users
- Offer day-to-day functional support for SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, and Controlling
- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues to minimize system downtime
- Collaborate with business users to understand financial processes and recommend process improvements
- Assist in the implementation of system enhancements and updates based on business requirements
- Coordinate with external consultants and support vendors to analyze, resolve, and test complex issues
User Training and Documentation:
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and effective utilization of SAP FICO
- Create and maintain comprehensive functional documentation, including process flows, user guides, and FAQs
Audit and Reporting:
- Provide data and reports for internal and external audits as needed
- Support financial reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
Month/Year-End Closing and Upgrades:
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all processes run smoothly
- Lead or support migration and upgrade projects, ensuring successful transitions with minimal disruptions
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in SAP FICO functional support
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred
Technical Skills:
- In-depth understanding of SAP FICO modules and their configurations
- Basic knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD)
- Proficiency in SAP reporting tools and transaction codes

Preferred Certifications:
