MISSION
Drive agency growth by identifying, qualifying, and converting prospective clients into signed
accounts, then handing them off seamlessly to the Project Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospecting & Outreach
- Research and identify target clients aligned with the strategy defined by the Agency Director.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects using LinkedIn, cold email, networking events, and
referrals.
- Conduct initial outreach and schedule discovery calls with decision-makers.
- Maintain and update the CRM with all lead activity, call notes, and follow-up actions.
- Attend industry events, expos, and networking sessions to generate leads.
Proposals & Closing
- Conduct discovery calls to understand the prospect's needs, goals, and budget.
- Prepare tailored service proposals in collaboration with the Agency Director.
- Present proposals to prospects and handle objections professionally.
- Negotiate pricing and scope within approved guidelines.
- Close deals and collect signed contracts or letters of engagement.
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure invoicing is set up correctly at contract signing.
Handover & Onboarding
- Brief the Project Manager on new clients: context, expectations, agreed scope, and key contacts.
- Participate in the client onboarding call to introduce the Project Manager.
- Ensure a smooth transition so the client feels continuity from sale to delivery.
- Follow up with the Project Manager after the first month to flag any misalignment with what was sold.
Credit Control & Cash Collection
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports regularly to ensure timely client payments.
- Conduct professional follow-ups and outreach to clients regarding overdue invoices, billing
discrepancies, or payment delays.
- Negotiate payment plans or resolutions with delinquent accounts in alignment with agency policies and financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with Finance and the Project Manager to pause services or implement contract holds for
non-paying clients when necessary.
- Verify creditworthiness and establish initial credit limits or payment terms for new prospective clients
during the closing stage.
Reporting & Strategy
- Report weekly to the Agency Director on pipeline status, conversion rates, and forecast.
- Flag patterns in prospect objections or lost deals to inform service or pricing adjustments.
- Track monthly targets: number of proposals sent, deals closed, and revenue generated.
- Contribute to refining the agency's value proposition and positioning.
