POSITION OVERVIEW

This is an exciting opportunity to represent a distinguished portfolio of luxury watches and fine jewellery within the Charles Greig family. The successful candidate will be an ambassador for our brand, delivering an impeccable luxury client experience while building enduring relationships with a sophisticated clientele.

The role requires the ability to sell high-end jewellery and luxury timepieces across our portfolio, including Jaeger-LeCoultre, Cartier, Panerai, Omega, IWC, Tudor, and Longines. After-sales service forms an integral part of the position, ensuring our clients receive the highest standard of care throughout their ownership journey .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Service & Relationship Management

  • Provide an exceptional, personalized, and discreet luxury service experience to all clients, embodying the Charles Greig standard of excellence .
  • Build and cultivate strong, lasting relationships with high-net-worth clients, offering a bespoke shopping experience tailored to individual preferences and occasions .
  • Nurture long-term client relationships through proactive and thoughtful follow-up via telephone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Handle all client enquiries with patience, empathy, and profound product knowledge.
  • Maintain and update the client database meticulously, ensuring all interactions are recorded for a seamless service journey .
  • Address client issues and concerns with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary .

Product Knowledge & Sales Achievement

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive, expert-level knowledge of our jewellery and watch collections, including:
  • Watch brands: Jaeger-LeCoultre, Cartier, Panerai, Omega, IWC, Tudor, and Longines.
  • Fine jewellery: materials (gold, diamonds, precious stones), craftsmanship, and design heritage .
  • Consistently meet and exceed personal and store sales targets through effective client engagement and consultative selling .
  • Articulate the values, features, and heritage of our products with passion and authority, leveraging storytelling to create memorable client experiences .
  • Commit to continuous learning regarding new collections, technical specifications, and brand history.

After-Sales Service

  • Assist clients with repairs, cleaning, maintenance, and servicing requirements with efficiency and care.
  • Coordinate the after-sales process from intake to return, ensuring clear communication and high levels of client satisfaction throughout .
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of warranty terms and service procedures for all represented brands.

Operational Excellence & Visual Merchandising

  • Ensure all jewellery and watches are displayed according to brand guidelines, maintaining immaculate presentation and an inviting boutique environment .
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, conducting accurate stock checks, and adhering to loss prevention procedures .
  • Maintain the highest levels of security awareness at all times, adhering strictly to all company security protocols and procedures .
  • Support daily boutique operations, including opening and closing procedures, as required.

Professional Conduct

  • Uphold an impeccable personal presentation that reflects the prestige of Charles Greig and the luxury brands we represent .
  • Exhibit exceptional etiquette in all forms of communication: verbal, non-verbal, written, and digital .
  • Maintain the highest level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality regarding client information and business operations .

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in a luxury retail or client-facing role is essential.
  • Experience in watches, jewellery, or high-end luxury is highly beneficial .
  • 2–3+ years of experience in luxury retail, specifically within fine jewellery, high-end watches, or comparable luxury goods, is strongly preferred .
  • Strong sales ability with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets in a high-value environment .
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with high emotional intelligence and the ability to build rapport with a discerning clientele .
  • Technically minded with a keen eye for detail and a logical approach to problem-solving .
  • Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are highly advantageous .
  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with POS systems Microsoft Office .
