Our client, a leader in the tiling market is looking for a dynamic and results driven Sales Manager. The ideal candidate should be passionate about customer service and have a strong understanding of the sales processes as well as actively motivate the sales team to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients in selecting the best products to meet their needs and handle all customer queries.
- Drive sales growth through proactive customer engagement and upselling.
- Ensure that merchandising and displays are appealing and aligned to sales focus and market and fashion trends.
- Execute proper stock management by maintaining stock levels, manage stock turn and stock losses.
- Conduct audits on all key business processes and areas within the store according to agree parameters.
- Motivate team members to meet and exceed store sales targets and manage underperformance.
- Drive a culture that emphasises quality, continuous improvement and a high standard of work performance.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both Afrikaans and English is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Grade 12 (NQF level 4), or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or retail.
- Previous experience in people management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Must be a team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From R15 000,00 per month
