Position: Sales Executive (Mid-weight)

Location: Johannesburg (Rosebank)
Work model: Hybrid: 3 days In-office / 2 days from home
Salary: R25 000 – R35 000 per month + commission/incentives

They’re looking for a hungry, commercially driven Sales Executive to help grow their client base and position the agency as a long-term strategic partner for brands that take audio seriously.

What the job involves..

Sales & Business Development

  • Daily outbound activity — calls, emails, Linked In — this is non-negotiable

  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline from scratch

  • Convert inbound leads into long-term, retainer-based clients

  • Close deals with a strong focus on recurring revenue (not once-off jobs)

  • Report on pipeline and closed deals weekly

Partnership & Relationship Building

  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers: marketing heads, brand managers, and agency leads

  • Position the agency as a strategic audio partner — not just a production supplier

  • Collaborate with internal creative and production teams to ensure what’s sold is deliverable

What you need to be considered..

  • In line with our client’s Employment Equity plan, preference will be given to suitably qualified EE candidates

  • 3–5 years of proven, hands-on sales experience

  • A demonstrable track record of closing deals — not just managing accounts

  • Experience selling services, media, marketing, or production solutions

  • Comfortable with outbound and unfazed by rejection

  • Able to clearly articulate deals you’ve personally closed — be ready to speak to this in interview

  • Strong communication skills with confidence presenting to senior clients

  • Consultative, solutions-led sales approach

Bonus points if you..

  • Have an existing network in agencies, radio, or retail/FMCG marketing teams

  • Have experience selling retainers or recurring revenue contracts

  • Have a genuine interest in audio, music, or brand storytelling
