Key Responsibilities
Market & Strategy
- Assess market size, trends, competitor landscape and growth opportunities across the region.
- Deploy the business unit’s sales strategy in alignment with regional objectives.
Sales & Business Development
- Implement commercial action plans and contribute to annual budget preparation.
- Conduct regular customer visits: manage existing accounts and develop new prospects.
- Identify, recruit and grow customer base.
- Support specification activities with engineering firms and key project stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and manage opportunities from lead to closing.
- Participate in regional exhibitions, trade shows and customer events.
Technical & Communication
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers.
- Collaborate closely with headquarters product support teams.
- Ensure strong internal communication and cross-business-line collaboration.
Required Skills & Competencies
Job-Specific Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of LV electrical systems and power switching and energy monitoring solutions.
- Solid commercial skills: customer relationship management, negotiation, channel management (not only distributors) at international level
- Experience with pricing, financial terms and project lifecycle management.
- Marketing awareness and ability to support product promotion.
- Excellent communication skills, internal and external.
- Team-oriented and able to drive cross-functional collaboration.

Education & Experience
- Technical degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a multinational or multicultural environment.
- Proven experience working with panel builders, system integrators and OEMs in the LV electrical sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from identification to closing.
Tools & Systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Daily user of CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
Languages
- English: Fluent
- French or additional languages are an advantage.
Travel Requirements
- Regular travel across key African markets (Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, Tanzania).
- Occasional travel to Europe for training or meetings.
