Calson management is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Living Sales Director to drive growth within our senior living community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, building relationships with prospective residents and families, and achieving occupancy and revenue targets. The Senior Living Sales Director will collaborate with the executive director and VP of sales to ensure the community’s goals are met while providing exceptional service and care to our prospective residents
Salary: $110,000 per year +Commission and Competitive Benefits!
Schedule: Exempt, minimum 5 days a/wk. Tuesday-Saturday
Villa Toscana Memory Care Community is in Mountain View, California. We cater exclusively to those with memory care needs. Our beautiful community is close in vicinity to various local restaurants, shopping, and local activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and maximize revenue in line with community objectives.
- Lead Generation & Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and the local community. Attend events and engage with prospects to increase visibility and generate leads.
- Sales Process Management: Oversee the sales process, from lead generation and tours to ensuring prospects receive exceptional service and information to make informed decisions.
- Market Analysis: Analyze local market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Reporting & Metrics: Monitor sales performance through regular reporting and provide insights to senior leadership regarding trends, challenges, and successes. Track KPIs and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
- Customer Focus: Maintain a strong customer-focused approach, ensuring all prospective residents and their families experience a smooth transition into the community.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, resident development, and care team to ensure a seamless experience for prospects and new residents.
- · Perform effective administrative support for the community, including:
Accounts Receivable: Track all community accounting changes and appropriate documentation, including move-ins, move-outs, credits, proposed rate adjustment, care fees, room service charges, discounts and other related changes or corrections. Prepare and record all invoices for the community, collect all monthly rent payments and assist in the collection process with past-due accounts in accordance to our policy. Ensure resident and payment documents are filed and stored appropriately and submitted in a timely manner.
Develop Comprehensive Marketing Plans: Create quarterly strategic marketing plans to support organizational objectives. Include advertising locations, promotions, and a calendar of community outreach and events.
Submit marketing plans for approval 30 days before the end of each quarter. Ensure plans are finalized and approved by the 3rd week of the previous quarter.
Execute monthly events and weekly outreach initiatives in alignment with the approved marketing plan. Maintain consistency and synergy in all outreach efforts.
Document all outreach efforts in Salesforce, ensuring meticulous records of weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities.
Regularly evaluate the success of marketing initiatives through statistical reporting. Analyze data monthly and quarterly to inform decision-making.
Advertising and Promotions: Plan and oversee advertising and promotional activities, encompassing print, online, electronic media, and direct mailings all to be approved by VP of Marketing. Support website management, brochures, competitive analysis, advertising, monthly specials, and commission reporting (referrals)
· Office Management: Assist the Executive Director with the completion of documents, correspondence, and special projects as needed. Politely assists residents as necessary or ensure other appropriate employees do so. Maintains favorable relations with corporate office, staff, residents, and vendors by responding to questions/requests in a timely manner. Performs simple, routine maintenance of office equipment, as needed.
· Performs other duties as assigned by Executive Director or Corporate staff as well as works hand- in-hand with the Sales Director
· Responsible for life cycle of all resident move in paperwork from date of deposit. To completed within August Health in a timely prior to move in
· Maintain Resident information in Internal CRM. Responsible for accuracy of rent roll to ensure occupancy reporting.
· Responsible for collection of initial 602s and medication lists prior to assessments.
· Responsible to make sure that incoming resident has welcome card and community information materials in apartment prior to move in
· Assist as needed with providing information to Long Term Care Insurance companies i.e., copies of invoices
· May be required to do specialized billing with ALW, IOA, Wellbe, and other outside agencies
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of sales experience in senior living or related industries (e.g., healthcare, hospitality).
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, with strong experience in lead generation, sales strategies, and closing techniques.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including residents, families, referral sources, and staff.
- Knowledge of Senior Living Industry: Understanding of senior living products, services, and regulations, as well as trends in the senior care industry.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales/marketing platforms.
