Sales Consultants

Role Purpose

We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of our new store in Cornubia (KwaZulu-Natal) and we are looking for talented, passionate and customer-focused individuals to join us as we build a team that will shape our success from day one. As a Sales Consultant, you will play an important role in bringing our brand experience to life by engaging with customers, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the face of Leroy Merlin in store, engaging directly with customers

• Help customers identify products and solutions that fit their needs

• Create a positive, welcoming, and helpful shopping experience

• Drive in-store sales through effective product knowledge and customer interaction

• Deliver excellent customer service at all times

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Contribute to customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty

• Support the overall performance and success of the store

Qualification and Experience

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification

• Be the in-store representative of Leroy Merlin, engaging directly with customers

• Assist customers in identifying suitable products and solutions based on their needs

• Deliver a welcoming, positive, and helpful shopping experience at all times

• Drive in-store sales through strong product knowledge and effective customer interaction

• Provide consistently excellent customer service

• Build and maintain strong, long term customer relationships

• Contribute to customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business

• Support overall store performance and achievement of sales targets

• Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required

• Operate POS systems and basic computer applications efficiently

• Maintain physical capability to stand, walk for extended periods, and lift/move stock when necessary
