Role Summary

We are seeking a target-driven, proactive, and results-oriented Sales Consultant to join our Vlakfontein team. This role focuses on business development, pipeline growth, key account management, managing leads through Salesforce, and building strong client relationships. If you are proactive, target-driven, and thrive on making an impact, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Qualify leads in Salesforce and convert opportunities into revenue.

• Build and grow new business within the assigned region, meeting sales targets.

• Prepare accurate quotations, ensuring profitability and GP% compliance.

• Coordinate with operations, finance, and other teams to deliver exceptional client service.

• Maintain accurate CRM and operational records, including quotes, invoices, and proposals.

• Conduct regular account reviews and resolve client issues promptly.

• Manage key accounts and serve as the main point of contact.

• Identify, analyse, and report risks while promoting risk awareness within the team.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years’ customer-facing experience.

• Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in RSA.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Salesforce.

• Strong negotiation, closing, and account management skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

• Resilient, persistent, and able to thrive under pressure.

• Strong time management, prioritisation, and reporting skills.

• Valid driver’s license.

Advantageous:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or equivalent).

• Knowledge of the Waste Management industry and governing regulations.
