ROLE

We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Lead to join the GreatHouse family. This is a hands-on role focused on building and executing a structured, repeatable sales process, while also helping guide and manage our marketing efforts.

This person will work directly with the owner and alongside external Sandler sales coaches to develop a sales approach that fits our company’s culture, values, and client experience. This is a “builder” role; someone who is excited to take what we have today and turn it into a clear, consistent, and high-performing sales system.

Over the first six months, this role will focus on learning, implementing, and refining a Sandler-based sales process. During that time, this person will also be actively involved in selling: meeting with clients, guiding them through the process, and closing projects. As the process becomes more established, this role will take increasing ownership of day-to-day sales execution.

In addition, this person will manage our outsourced marketing company, helping translate business goals into clear direction for SEO, paid ads, content, and social media.

This is not a pure sales role and not a pure marketing role; it is an opportunity to build and run the front end of the business.

We expect this role to balance:

– ~60% direct sales and client interaction

– ~25% sales process development and implementation (Sandler-based)

– ~15% marketing coordination and vendor management

Salary/Benefits

– Base salary + performance-based bonus/commission for a total compensation target of $85–120K+, depending on experience and annual sales performance

Responsibilities

Sales Execution & Process Building:

– Meet with prospective clients and lead the sales process from first conversation through signed agreement

– Implement and follow a structured Sandler-based sales approach

– Help build and refine sales scripts, materials, and workflows

– Track leads, follow-ups, and pipeline activity with consistency and discipline

– Improve conversion rates, client experience, and overall sales performance

– Provide feedback to continuously improve the sales process

– Collaborate closely with design and production teams for smooth handoffs

Marketing Coordination:

– Serve as the primary point of contact for our outsourced marketing company

– Help set direction for SEO strategy, Google Ads campaigns, website messaging, blog/content topics, and social media presence

– Ensure marketing efforts align with sales goals and ideal client profile

– Monitor lead quality and volume, and adjust strategy as needed

Process & Accountability:

– Bring structure and consistency to how we handle leads and opportunities

– Track and report on key metrics (lead flow, conversion rates, pipeline)

– Help identify gaps and opportunities in the customer journey

– Continuously improve systems, tools, and communication

You don’t need a fully built system handed to you; you’re excited to help create it. You are organized, accountable, and proactive. You follow through, track details, and take ownership of outcomes. Qualifications

– 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles

– Experience following or implementing a structured sales process (Sandler experience is a plus)

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through

– Comfortable managing multiple leads and priorities at once

– Experience working with or managing marketing vendors/agencies is a plus

– Analytical enough to track performance and improve results

– Experience in remodeling, construction, or home services is a plus (but not required)

Pay: $85,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
