Role Description
The Sales Agent will engage with prospective and existing customers, present products and services, and guide clients through the sales process. Daily responsibilities include identifying leads, conducting in-person meetings, explaining product features and benefits, and closing sales in line with set targets. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, coordinating with internal teams to resolve client issues, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction. Sales Agents may participate in training sessions, promotional activities, and outreach events to support business growth and strengthen customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear speaking, active listening, and professional presentation abilities.
- Proven Customer Service capabilities, with a focus on building trust, handling inquiries, and resolving concerns promptly.
- Demonstrated Sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals to meet or exceed targets.
- Basic understanding of Insurance products or willingness to learn and apply insurance concepts in client interactions.
- Experience in Training or openness to participate in regular training to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Ability to work on-site in Kampala, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort using basic computer tools and mobile applications for reporting, communication, and customer management.
- Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles is an advantage, but motivated entry-level candidates are also encouraged to apply.
