What will you do?
The Santam Direct Call Centre is currently recruiting Sales Adviser – Smart SME with both Commercial and Personal Lines experience. The successful candidate will offer world‑class products and services to clients by identifying client needs and recommending tailored insurance solutions to meet specific customer requirements while achieving sales targets in a call centre environment. The successful candidate will be based in Cape Town.
Responsibilities
- Consistently achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of our Direct Sales team.
- Adhere to Quality Assurance processes, including compliance with relevant internal and external rules (e.g., TCF, CPA, and internal sales processes).
- Offer outstanding customer experience.
- Strictly adhere to workforce scheduling.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in short‑term insurance.
- A valid regulatory exam certificate and short‑term FAIS credits.
- Experience in personal and/or commercial products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a passion for helping others.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Specific Requirements
- Probationary period of three months consisting of a six‑week training phase and an on‑job evaluation phase during which progress will be measured against set targets.
