SynergERP is looking for motivated and curious graduates to join our team as Sage ERP Consultant Interns, where you will gain hands-on experience in business systems, consulting, and process improvement.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals who want to build a career at the intersection of technology, finance, and operations and gain exposure to ERP systems such as Sage Intacct (finance-focused) or Sage X3 (operational-focused), while developing skills in business analysis, problem-solving, and client engagement.

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work remotely with occasional on-site engagements.

What You will Be Doing

• Support consultants in analysing client business processes across finance and operations
• Assist in identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement within client systems
• Participate in ERP implementation activities, including data preparation and system testing
• Help document business requirements and process workflows
• Support the configuration and optimisation of ERP solutions under guidance
• Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and client-facing documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Engage in continuous learning around ERP systems, business processes, and consulting practices

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent writing skills for clear and accurate documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work well in a client-facing environment
• A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
• A research-oriented mindset and willingness to learn

Minimum Requirements:

• Not currently in full-time employment
• Available to start on July 1st, 2026, for a 12-month internship
• Based in Johannesburg or willing to relocate
• Able to work in a hybrid setup (office and remote)
