Vacancy: Safety Systems and Data Coordinator
Location: MIDRAND, GAUTENG
Educational Qualifications and Work Experience
Grade 12 Certificate
National Diploma or Degree in Engineering / Data Science or Statistics / Safety Management or related.
Minimum 2 years’ experience exposure to data, systems or reporting OR 5 years’ experience in mining, drilling or industrial environments as Safety Officer / Safety administrator or SHEQ coordinator.
Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, understanding of how processes can be translated into digital workflows, ability to think in terms of system, and interest or aptitude in building and improving digital tools will be added advantage.

Duties
Safety Systems Development & Improvement
Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Rosond’s safety systems and digital tools.
Assisting in building and improving systems using Microsoft Power Platform and other safety management systems.
Translating safety processes into structured digital workflows (hazards, incidents, actions)
Supporting system configuration, automation, and usability improvements
Contributing to the development of a centralised safety reporting and action management system
Safety Data & Reporting
Support the management, analysis, and reporting of safety data across operations.
Maintaining accurate and reliable safety data
Consolidating and analysing safety information across sites
Supporting development of dashboards and reports (Power BI or similar)
Tracking key safety indicators and identifying trends
Safety Data Support & Coordination
Support the effective use and adoption of safety systems across Rosond.
Providing user support and basic troubleshooting
Ensuring consistent and correct data capture
Supporting rollout of system improvements and enhancements
Assisting operational teams with system processes
Document & Governance Control
Maintain structured and controlled safety documentation.
Managing document control and versioning
Ensuring access to current and approved documents
Supporting updates to procedures, standards, and templates
Continuous Improvement
Support ongoing improvement of safety systems, reporting, and processes.
Identifying opportunities to improve systems and reporting.
Supporting digitalisation initiatives.
Contributing to standardisation across operations.
