A vacancy currently exists for a ROUGHAGE PLANT OPERATOR at Meadow Feeds Pietermaritzburg
The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For
- Operate the roughage mixing line in accordance with operating procedures and quality standards.
- Ensure optimum plant performance and achieve production targets in terms of tons per hour.
- Complete all required production log sheets accurately and timeously.
- Adhere to all company work procedures, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and 20 Keys standards within the designated work area.
- Report equipment abnormalities or production issues to the relevant supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good planning and organisational skills with a strong focus on achieving production targets.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment will be advantageous.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to work shifts.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
