Qualification & Requirements;
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing Science
- Registration with South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- A qualification in Critical Care Nursing Science will be an advantage
- Minimum 3 year’s Unit Management experience in a private hospital set up
- Sound knowledge and application of relevant ICU policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer proficiency
Key Areas
- Provide quality nursing care to antenatal, postnatal, and maternity patients.
- Assess, monitor, and record the condition of mothers and newborns.
- Administer medication and treatment as prescribed by medical practitioners.
- Assist with labour, delivery, and postnatal care within the scope of practice.
- Respond promptly to maternal and neonatal emergencies.
- Educate mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postnatal recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Adhere to SANC regulations, hospital policies, and ethical nursing practices.
Pay: R1,00 – R30 000,00 per month
