SUMMARY:
We are looking for a skilled Rigger with 3-5 years of underground mining experience for a Contractor position in JHB – Central.

Seniority Level: Mid Career (2 – 4 yrs exp)
Minimum Requirements:
- Recognised Rigger Trade Certificate
- Valid Red Ticket / Medical Fitness Certificate
- Minimum 3-5 years underground mining experience
- Experience with lifting equipment, chain blocks, and rigging practices
- Knowledge of underground lifting and safety procedures
Mandatory Certifications:
- Valid Working at Heights Certificate
- Confined Space Certificate
- Power Tools Training Certificate
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rigging and lifting operations underground
- Inspect and maintain lifting equipment
- Ensure safe movement and positioning of heavy equipment
- Conduct pre-use inspections of rigging gear
- Assist with installations and shutdown activities
- Ensure compliance with mine safety standards
