Our client in the automotive retail industry is seeking to employ a Retail Store Manager to join their team based in Claremont, Pretoria.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements Matric / Grade 12 (minimum requirement). Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related qualification. Minimum of 5 years' experience in retail sales and/or marketing. At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role. Strong knowledge of retail store operations and inventory management. Experience in sales planning, merchandising, and pricing strategies. Sound financial and budget management skills. Computer literacy, including MS Office Suite and relevant retail software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership, planning, and organisational abilities. Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance within a retail environment. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store to achieve sales and profitability targets. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve store performance. Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring exceptional customer service. Ensure adequate stock levels through effective inventory management. Oversee merchandising, pricing, promotions, and display standards. Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue. Analyse financial reports and profitability ratios to support business decisions. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and operational procedures. Implement and maintain store security measures to protect assets. Promote a safe, clean, and compliant working environment. Schedule, supervise, and support store employees to maximise productivity. Conduct employee performance reviews and support staff development initiatives. Address employee relations matters in collaboration with Human Resources. Assist with budget preparation and monitor expenditure against approved budgets. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Prepare management reports on store performance, risks, and stakeholder matters. Uphold company values of integrity, accountability, teamwork, and customer excellence.
