Miss Lyn is opening a brand-new store in Paarl, and we’re looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our founding store team. This is a unique opportunity to help launch a new store, shape the customer experience and grow with an established South African homewares brand celebrating its 30th year in business.

The Role
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. You will assist customers with product selection, maintain outstanding merchandising standards, process sales transactions accurately and contribute to achieving store sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience
- Assist customers with product recommendations and sales
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards throughout the store
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with stock replenishment and stock control
- Ensure the store remains clean, organised and well presented
- Work closely with team members to achieve sales and operational goals
What We’re Looking For

- Previous retail sales experience will be advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, positive and professional attitude
- Strong customer service focus
- Reliable and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work retail trading hours, weekends and public holidays
- Comfortable communicating with customers in both English and Afrikaans, as a large portion of our customer base is Afrikaans-speaking.
- Reliable transport to and from Drakenstein Sentrum is essential.
- A genuine interest in homewares, interior décor and creating beautiful living spaces
