Retail Branch Manager – AA/EE Candidate
Location: George, Western Cape
A leading national retail company is seeking an experienced and driven Retail Branch Manager to lead operations at its George branch. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong retail management experience, a passion for customer service excellence, and the ability to drive team performance while ensuring operational efficiency.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards
- Lead, manage, and motivate the store team to achieve performance targets
- Oversee training and development of staff to build a high-performing team
- Drive community engagement and brand presence within the local area
- Ensure financial performance through effective cost control and sales growth
- Manage administrative functions and reporting
- Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards
- Demonstrate a strong merchant mindset to optimize product offering and sales opportunities
- Ensure the protection of company assets and adherence to operational policies
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ in-store retail sales experience
- Minimum 3 years’ Store/Branch Management experience
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Proven track record in shrinkage control, expense management, budgeting, and customer service delivery
- IR experience will be advantageous
- Experience managing a team of approximately 20–25 staff members
- Computer literate (Outlook, MS Word, Excel) with strong numerical skills and exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Target-driven with strong leadership abilities
- Valid driver’s licence
