Restoration/ Water/ Mold Technician (Mold Licensed)
Location: Pinellas Park, FL
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Water Restoration Technician with an active Mold License to join our growing team in Pinellas Park. This position is responsible for responding to residential and commercial water damage emergencies, performing mitigation and restoration services, and assisting with mold remediation projects. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and capable of working in fast-paced environments while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Respond to water damage and mold remediation service calls
- Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and moisture monitoring
- Set up and operate restoration equipment including air movers and dehumidifiers
- Conduct mold remediation in compliance with state and company guidelines
- Document job progress with photos, notes, and moisture readings
- Remove and dispose of damaged materials safely and efficiently
- Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and equipment
- Follow all OSHA safety standards and company procedures
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response services as needed
Qualifications
- Active Florida Mold License required
- Previous experience in water restoration, mitigation, or mold remediation preferred
- IICRC certifications are a plus (WRT, ASD, AMRT, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Schedule
- Full-time
- Day, evening, and emergency on-call availability may be required
