As a Restaurant Supervisor , you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee the day-to- day operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth service, team efficiency, and compliance with ONOMO standards. This role requires strong leadership, a hands-on approach, and a passion for hospitality excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction.
- Train, guide, and motivate front-of-house staff to maintain service excellence and adherence to brand standards.
- Assist with staff scheduling, recruitment, and performance management.
- Provide recommendations and sell dishes and beverages to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Support the Restaurant Manager with administrative tasks, including stock control, cash-up procedures, and reporting.
- Monitor financial performance and contribute to achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Uphold and promote ONOMO’s values, culture, and operational procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2–5 years of proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service best practices.
- Proficiency in Micros POS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of financial controls and administrative duties related to restaurant management.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and Environmental standards.
- A passion for delivering memorable guest experiences and fostering repeat business.
