Restaurant Manager Job Opportunity – Stellenbosch, Western Cape

An established upmarket restaurant in Stellenbosch is seeking an experienced and service‑driven Restaurant Manager to join their team. Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field (beneficial)
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a hospitality management role
  • Previous experience within an upmarket restaurant environment
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge
  • Experience working with restaurant management systems and POS systems
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent guest relations and communication skills
  • Good understanding of restaurant financial controls and cost management
  • Ability to train and motivate staff effectively

    Professional, well‑presented, and service‑oriented

  • Ability to work flexible hospitality hours
  • Stellenbosch residents preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant
  • Ensuring excellent guest service and customer satisfaction
  • Managing and supervising restaurant staff
  • Assisting with staff training and performance management
  • Maintaining high service and cleanliness standards
  • Handling guest queries and resolving complaints professionally
  • Assisting with stock control and operational procedures

Salary & Benefits
