Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (No Weekends) Base Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour (Plus opportunities for performance-based growth and weekends if desired)

What You’ll Be Doing: As a Residential Technician, you are the trusted expert our customers rely on to secure and upgrade their homes.
- Installation & Service: Install, repair, and maintain residential garage doors, automatic operators, and associated hardware (with occasional light commercial crossover).
- Site Prep & Modification: Survey worksites and perform minor framing, build-ins, and adjustments to ensure a flawless fit.
- Customer Experience: Review completed work with homeowners, explain basic operations, and represent Hill Country Overhead Door with total professionalism.
- Safety & Quality Control: Follow all safety guidelines, ensuring the right tools and parts are prepped, tested, and ready before the job starts.
- Fleet Management: Take ownership of your provided company vehicle, maintaining proper parts inventory and keeping equipment in top working order.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the Overhead Door industry is required.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Technical Skills: Ability to solve practical field problems, calculate basic math, read a tape measure accurately, and follow technical diagrams.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and document routine service reports.
- Licensing: A valid Driver’s License is required.
Physical Demands: This is an active, hands-on trades position. You must be able to:
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally up to 150 pounds.
- Work comfortably from ladders and elevated heights up to 15 feet.
- Regularly stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
