Join a dynamic hospitality company in Gauteng as a reservations agent based in Blairgowrie, Johannesburg. This exciting hospitality opportunity is ideal for a technically skilled agent with strong reservations expertise and lodge or multi-property experience. In this role, you will focus on backend reservations processes, ensuring seamless connectivity between OTA platforms and systems, while maintaining optimal hospitality performance. As a reservations agent, you will play a key role in managing booking accuracy, enhancing guest satisfaction, and supporting revenue growth. This hospitality position suits a proactive agent who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has advanced knowledge of reservations systems like ResRequest and OTA integrations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years ResRequest experience within hospitality reservations environments (non-negotiable).
- Strong knowledge of OTA platforms including Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Airbnb, and Agoda.
- Proven agent experience managing channel manager functionality, interfaces, and reservations syncing processes.
- Demonstrated success handling multi-property reservations with strong conversion and guest satisfaction focus.
- Solid understanding of reservations workflows, rate management, availability updates, and inventory control systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills resolving hospitality system errors and OTA interface issues efficiently.
- Detail-oriented agent with excellent organizational and analytical reservations skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high levels of accuracy across hospitality systems.
- Strong communication skills liaising with internal teams and external OTA partners professionally.
- Own reliable transport required for this Gauteng-based agent role.
Package
- Salary: R 25-30 000 per month, negotiable based on reservations and hospitality experience.
