Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Research Analyst to support healthcare research initiatives through in-depth data analysis, report generation, and evidence-based insights. The Research Analyst will play a key role in supporting clinical and operational research by gathering and analyzing healthcare data, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the development of strategic reports and recommendations.
Ideal Candidate: You are analytical, precise, and experienced in managing healthcare datasets. You possess a solid understanding of research design, data interpretation, and healthcare regulations. You thrive in a remote, collaborative environment and are able to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze healthcare data from a variety of sources, including EHRs, claims databases, and surveys
- Assist in designing research methodologies and study protocols aligned with project goals
- Prepare detailed reports, visualizations, and presentations based on research findings
- Support the development of proposals, publications, and grant documentation
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards, HIPAA, and applicable research regulations
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and technical teams to support data-driven decisions
- Monitor and evaluate key health trends and program outcomes to guide continuous improvement
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Statistics, or related field; Master’s degree is an asset
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in healthcare or clinical research analytics
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical tools and data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS, Excel, Tableau)
- Data Literacy: Strong ability to interpret and communicate data insights clearly and accurately
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with HIPAA, IRB procedures, and healthcare compliance standards
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting
