Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Repair and Maintenance person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our grounds and buildings. This role requires a hands-on approach to repairs and maintenance, lawn care, and general carpentry and groundskeeping tasks. The Repair & Maintenance person will utilize hand tools, power tools and utility vehicles to maintain the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our indoor and outdoor spaces. Carpentry, panting, plumbing, electric and other general household maintenance skills are a plus.
Duties
- Perform regular landscape and grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns and green spaces
- Care for driveways, paths, decks, terraces, hiking trails and alpaca stable
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all tools and equipment used in groundskeeping and maintenance
- Coordinate work and maintenance with third party vendors and suppliers as needed
- Monitor the condition of landscapes, buildings and equipment and report any issues or necessary repairs and improvements to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in grounds and facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintenance tasks.

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
