Role Description
We are seeking a Renewable Energy Engineer for a full-time hybrid role based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing renewable energy systems, including solar and wind energy solutions. The engineer will also analyze energy performance, conduct site assessments, and contribute to innovative energy projects. Collaboration with teams, monitoring energy systems, and ensuring compliance with sustainability standards are essential aspects of this position.
Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of Renewable Energy Systems, Wind Energy, and Solar Energy
- Expertise in Solar Power and Wind Energy technologies
- Experience or strong knowledge of the Energy Industry and its trends
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to energy performance analysis
- Proficiency in energy management software and technical design tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup (office and remote)
- Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Relevant certifications in renewable energy or sustainability are a plus
