Interwaste, a leader in waste management solutions across Southern Africa, is seeking a detail-oriented Remuneration Data Analyst Intern (Fixed Term Contract for 6 months) to join our team at the Germiston branch.

Role Purpose
This role will support the Compensation and Benefits Manager in assessing remuneration and reward practices within the Company. Under guidance, the role will be required to perform the following duties:
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, maintaining, updating and analyse job duties and responsibilities (job profiles),
- Evaluate job roles and responsibilities to ensure accurate job evaluation and appropriate salary benchmarking.
- Assist with salary mapping to grades and identification of pay gaps.
- Support salary benchmarking, job evaluation and grading processes.
- Prepare reports and provide analytical support for ongoing special projects and initiatives.
- Routine check and audits to ensure information accuracy within the human resource information system.
- Generate reports and give analytical support for ongoing projects.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Advanced Excel skills
- High level of confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- Ability to effectively deal with conflict.
- Ability to negotiate with various stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics, or related field.
- Advanced Excel capabilities.
- Strong numerical and data manipulation capabilities.
- Strong statistical, analytical and research skills.
- Experience working on VIP Sage payroll [Advantageous]
- Exposure to job grading methodologies [Paterson advantageous]
