Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute remodeling plans.
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding work with precision.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Install fixtures, flooring, tile and drywall components to meet project specifications.
- Measure materials accurately for construction estimating purposes; manage material fabrication and assembly efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and client requirements while maintaining a clean job site.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues on-site and adapt plans as necessary for successful project completion.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and general remodeling projects.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and construction site safety protocols.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, metal stud framing, drywall installation and fixture installation.
- Knowledge of siding installation , flooring installation, cabinetry setup, and door hanging.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site while maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of remodeling work. Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
