We are seeking an accomplished Director of regional sales – East Africa to lead and accelerate our clients' pharmaceutical/nutraceutical business across the region. This is a senior, field-oriented leadership role for a driven commercial professional with deep market knowledge in Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional sales growth and performance across East Africa
- Lead, coach, and manage high-performing sales teams
- Develop and execute strategic market expansion and prospecting plans
- Conduct scientific and commercial presentations to healthcare professionals (doctors, key opinion leaders)
- Lead high-level negotiations with distributors, partners, and key accounts
- Ensure strong field execution, performance tracking, and results delivery
- Represent the company with professionalism, charisma, and authority across the region
Required Profile
- MD or PharmD qualification
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- MBA
- 5–10 years of proven field experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical sales in Africa
- Strong track record of sales performance and commercial results
- Exceptional negotiation skills and sales team management experience
- Confident public speaker, able to lecture and engage doctors
- Charismatic leader with a strong presence and influence
- Highly focused, objective-oriented, and performance-driven
- Fully mobile across Africa, with the ability to travel extensively without visa constraints
