The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, while also playing a key role in client engagement and business growth.
This is not a “fill jobs” role – it’s about understanding businesses, identifying opportunities, and delivering talent solutions that add real value.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development by building relationships with new and existing clients in the Finance and IT sectors
- Understand client needs deeply – their business, culture, and hiring challenges
- Source and headhunt top-tier talent, especially scarce and specialised skill sets
- Write compelling job adverts and leverage digital platforms to attract high-quality candidates
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to placement
- Interview, assess, and shortlist candidates with a strong focus on quality and fit
- Present candidates professionally and provide consultative feedback to clients
- Prepare candidates for interviews and manage expectations on both sides
- Negotiate offers and close placements confidently and effectively
- Build and maintain your own client and candidate pipeline
- Work towards and exceed targets, contributing to team and business growth

Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Psychology, Marketing, or similar
- 2+ years’ experience in recruitment, sales, or a client-facing role
- Strong understanding of sourcing and recruitment techniques
- Experience working in a target-driven environment
