Leasing Sales Agent Job Spec Expectations – Johannesburg South
The Leasing & Sales Agent role is responsible for the integration of Lofty Properties’ operational objectives—Stock, Occupation, Payments, Maintenance, Retention and new business—into a single role that balances sales drive with effective property management and client service excellence.
The Field Agent deliverables are sourcing and securing rental and sales mandates, marketing and presenting properties, facilitating property on boarding, rent collections, inspections, maintenance coordination, and growing the portfolio in the designated region.
Job Description:
- Client introduction: Tenant and owners.
- Property marketing: Additional marketing to ensure property occupation.
- Property viewings: Ensure potential tenants see available properties.
- Rental income collections: Ensure all payments are received on time and conduct follow ups on due payments.
- Property inspections: occupation and bi monthly inspections.
- Client Sourcing: New rental and sales mandates.
- Property maintenance management.
KEY PERFOMANCE DELIVERABLES & MEASUREMENT
Client introduction
- Source and Present rental management services to property owners & and secure new clients.
- Secure new mandates-properties for sale and rental. Property buyers and owners.
- Grow Business property stock & listing portfolio.
- Services & Property marketing
- Promote properties available with methods beyond company structures.
Property viewings
- Conduct viewings to PRESENT properties off to prospective tenants. Booking viewing with reasonable frequency. Ensure that properties are all occupied at all times.
Rental income collections
- Collection on rental payments with house calls.
- Serve Demand letters.
- Serve eviction when due.
Property inspections
- Inspections on occupation and upon exit with completed reports.
- Ensure properties well kept- bi monthly visits to occupied properties, with feedback.
- Monitor the repairs and maintenance work on the properties.
INNOVATION ON EXECUTION STRATEGIES
- Improvement points on working standards and control measures in place.
- New business Innovations on services needed to support main sales and rental business.
ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure efficiencies in property operations. Occupied, Paid & Maintained.
- Regular reporting on rental mandates, collection , maintenance, new clients,
- Speedy execution and responsive to customer issues.
- Availability in area & telephonically for emergencies.
- Oversee, inspect the maintenance and manage maintenance service providers
BASIC APPLICANT EXPECTATIONS
- Real Estate Agent Experience is a must.
- Sales & Rentals experience
ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must have own vehicle
- Must reside in the Johannesburg South areas
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R8 500,00 – R11 000,00 per month
