Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Duties
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients’ growth and development
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and toileting to promote independence
- Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Collaborate with supervisors, families, and care teams to develop and update personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
- Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching social skills, communication, and behavior management strategies
- Maintain confidentiality of medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations at all times
- Document all session activities thoroughly using medical documentation standards and proper terminology
Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) methods
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder
- Ability to assist with ADLs while promoting client independence and dignity
- Excellent data collection skills for tracking behavioral progress accurately
- Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare documentation, and care plan development
- Compassionate approach to patient care with patience and effective communication skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and security of medical records and sensitive information

Pay: $27.00 – $33.00 per hour
