Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our mobile healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various imaging techniques and demonstrate proficiency in performing diagnostic radiology procedures. As a TECH with New York Home X-Ray you will be transporting and operating imaging equipment at various locations. This role is critical in providing high-quality patient care through accurate imaging and effective communication with patients, family and medical staff.
Responsibilities
- Transport and Operate portable imaging equipment
- Must be able to lift over 50lbs
- Keep vehicle clean and serviced
- Perform imaging procedures including X-ray at various locations while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge to accurately interpret images.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure cleanliness and prevent infection during procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and participate in ongoing education or training opportunities.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program.
- Must have valid Drivers License/ clean driving record.
- Experience in PORTABLE IMAGING is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in diagnostic radiology techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of medical imaging principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.

- $3,000 Sign on Bonus available depending on Portable Imaging Experience!

Pay: $38.00 – $55.00 per hour
