Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all cost-related aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and ensuring projects are delivered within approved financial limits while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents
- Monitor project costs and control expenditures to ensure projects stay within budget
- Evaluate contractors’ and suppliers’ quotations and recommend best value options
- Prepare and certify interim valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Conduct site measurements and valuations of completed works
- Support procurement processes and contract administration
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors
- Prepare regular cost reports and financial forecasts for management
- Ensure compliance with contractual, financial, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- BSc or HND (Upper Credit) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experience in the construction industry
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD MEP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team

- Experience with building and infrastructure projects
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
